Agra Runs For Health: Massive Turnout At Yatharth Hospital Walkathon On World Health Day

On the occasion of World Health Day, the “Agra Health Walkathon” organized by Yatharth Hospital, Agra delivered a strong message of health awareness among city residents. What would have been a regular Sunday morning turned into a “Healthy Morning” as thousands gathered at the hospital premises to participate in the walkathon.


The event was flagged off by Mr. Deepak Kumar, Police Commissioner of Agra. Also present on the occasion were Dr. Nandan Singh, Deputy CMO, Dr. Kapil Tyagi, Managing Director of Yatharth Group of Hospitals, and Mr. Amit Singh, Group CEO.
The event kicked off with an energetic Zumba session set to lively music, learning fitness techniques, while setting the tone for the day. The enthusiasm of thousands of participants created a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Zumba session was followed by the walkathon. The event saw participation from all age groups, including children, youth, women, and senior citizens, all coming together to pledge a healthier lifestyle. The program was concluded with a lucky draw where winners received exciting prizes. 


Speaking on the occasion, Police Commissioner Mr. Deepak Kumar appreciated the initiative and said, “this is a unique initiative in the city organized on World Health Day. It will go a long way in spreading awareness about health among citizens.”
