Dr Sanjeev Upadhyaya has served as an Independent Director of the Company since February 21, 2022. He is a public health and development professional with nearly three decades of experience strengthening health systems across India and Africa.

A medical doctor by training, Dr. Upadhyaya earned his MBBS from LLRM Medical College, Meerut, and specialized in Community Medicine at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Sevagram. He also holds advanced credentials in Health Systems Strengthening from the Nossal Institute for Global Health, University of Melbourne, Australia.

With core expertise in maternal, newborn, and child health as well as infectious diseases, Dr. Upadhyaya spent over a decade as a Health Specialist with UNICEF across India and Africa. He has served as a Senior Advisor with USAID in New Delhi and held executive leadership as Executive Director of the State Health Systems Resource Centre (SHSRC) for the Government of Chhattisgarh. Additionally, he has consulted for leading national and international organizations, including WHO, CARE, IntraHealth  International, Handicap International, Futures Group International, and the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
