The 100th kidney transplant has been done at Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida on a 39-year-old man suffering from high blood pressure for over 5 years. He had a sudden stoppage of urine output when he consulted the nephrologists at Yatharth Hospital, Jhansi-Orchha. He was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and was managed with dialysis through AV fistula. He underwent dialysis twice a week for a period of 9 months when he opted to go for a Kidney transplant at Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida in the hope of a better life.
The Kidney Transplant was successfully performed at Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida. His wife found to be ABO compatible and a fit candidate for kidney donation, donated kidney to her husband.
