WHAT I'D LIKE TO TELL MY PATIENTS

As a surgeon i believe it's important to communicate effectively with the patient and provide information they need in clear and compassionate manner. When patient enters to my OPD, I always try to make patient feel comfortable and listens to him/her patiently. I encourage patient and relative to ask questions at any point during discussion even if they thinks it's a small or silly doubt.

I explain diagnosis to the patient and relatives in the straightforward manner using simple language which they can understand and tell them the available treatment options and always explain them the benefits, risks, recovery process and potential outcomes of each options. I helps the patient to understand the recommended course of action, but also respect their autonomy by involving them in the decision-making process.
